It's a pretty coral color, and the dress is very flattering, especially if you have a belly you want to cover up. The fabric is very thin, so wear a smoother if you plan to get this dress in a color other than black. It comes long, so hemming is required.

The dress is what I expected. It is not extremely formal by definition. It is nice if a long dress is necessary if you are a wedding guest but probably not if you are a guest of honor or in a wedding party. It's fairly lightweight and nice for a summer evening. The sleeves are fairly short if you are looking for coverage. It would not pass as a formal, expensive dress. I do think it looks nicer than its price though.
